web design questions

We will try to answer most of your questions below, if you have other questions please don’t hesitate to contact us.

How long does it take for a web design to be completed?

The timescale of a project is generally dictated by the client. If you have a deadline in mind we will do our best to meet it for you. The most common delay in the creation of a site is waiting for content (text/images) to be sent over by the client.

I would like you to design my site, what do I need to do now/what is the process?

If you would like to use our services, just contact us and let us know you would like to get started. We will email you or call depending on your preference, we will talk with you and find out about you and your business. If need be we can meet and cover this information also. If we both feel like it will be a good fit after meeting then we will proceed. Basically we will put up a temporary website where we will begin working on your new website. We will work with you during the full process making sure you are satisfied with how it is looking.

Do I need to buy a domain name and hosting?

That is completely up to you, we always suggest that the client be as involved in the process as they want to be, and will be happy to either do this for you or walk you through how to do it.

How much will it cost?

The cost of a website varies, depending upon the type of site you require. Each website requires individual attention that may vary from project to project, because different requests require different amounts of work so an initial consultation will help define costs. Obviously each site has to be treated on its individual requirements.

We offer a very unique service, we charge 30.00 per hour and do not charge you anything until your are %100 satisfied with the website. At any point you can walk away not owing anything, this guaranties you are always in full control and completely satisfied with our service.

The only exceptions to this would be if we need to purchase certain things for your site – WordPress plugins that you require for your site to make it run a certain way or a special template that we don’t already have access to. In most cases this is extremely rare as we have access to a great deal of WordPress plugins and themes. A good example of this would be a car dealership, let’s say you want a specific component that displays cars for sale in a certain way. These would be the only upfront costs that you would need to pay.

Payment can be made by check, Bank transfer or by using PayPal.

The only ongoing cost will be your annual hosting fee and website Maintenance fee if you should decide that you would like to keep us on to do website updates and content additons.

What do I get for my money?

All of our designs are created and conceived from your requirements. We aim to give all of our clients ‘value for money’ websites. Granted you may find a cheaper offer out there and no doubt a lot more expensive solutions.

What happens when I complete your contact form?

If you are making an inquiry about a possible site you would like created, please provide a brief outline of your requirements. We will then mail you back promptly and answer any and all questions you have and will have some questions for you also. You are not obliged to use our services at any stage during this process, so feel free to use the form to ask any related questions you may have.

Do I need to send a deposit for the work?

No there is no deposit required, the only upfront cost would be anything specific that you may require as far as a theme or WordPress plugin that we don’t already have access to.

What is WordPress?

WordPress is an online, open source website creation tool written in PHP. But in non-geek speak, it’s probably the easiest and most powerful blogging and website content management system (or CMS) in existence today.

How do I get listed in Google?

It is free to submit to Google and you can do that here. We submit all websites we design to Google and Bing.

What is search engine optimization?

The process of maximizing the number of visitors to a particular website by ensuring that the site appears high on the list of results returned by a search engine.

Will we need to have a meeting?

In the majority of cases a meeting isn’t necessary and 90% of our sites are generally completed with contact via email and telephone only.

What after-sales support do you offer?
